How does the beholder even spawn? I've been running around the newest stage and haven't actually managed to see it somehow. Is it correlated to those "alert all the gargoyles" eyes on the ground at all? Because I learned pretty quick to avoid those if at all possible.

It's random for the stage to either have gargoyles or just the beholder

Wow, then I guess I rolled the 1/16 of getting gargoyles 4 times in a row and just gave up after that. How unlucky of me.
